its great and everything. but youre not putting emotion in the right parts. probably due to the fact that you dont know what youre singing about.... it just feels like youre singing sounds. and not the actual words. if you sang them as words with meaning, the whole song would be more coherent

oh and im not fond of the "Ayy~" either.

the mv is about the serious issue of a middle-aged man losing his job, hitting depression, unable to care for his family, his wife and child leaving, and then he decides to go back to the country-side/rice patties, reconnect with nature and just to find peace again, and yes in the end- his family comes back to him)
the song is typical jay- mellow yet upbeat

theres some confusion between the leaked album and the released one. but anyways, heres my brief opinion on the tracks

1.魔杰座 Capricorn (Mo Jie Zuo) 04:30
not a strong title song, but when hes actually singing, his voice sounds smooth

2.女兒紅 Red Daughter (Nu Er Hong) 04:13
typical jay, mellow w/ catchy beat - chorus is sweet sounding. nice.

3.東方之殿 Place of the Oriental (Dong Fong Zhi Dian) 02:54
typical kind of 'strong'- fast jay song, he does the low rapping with a high pitched girl whining singing & snake charmer music in the back (?)

4.紅樓夢中 Dream of the Red Mansion (Hong Lou Meng Zhong) 04:24
typical slow jay song, i think his voice cracks during the chorus.  ... yes. yes it does. its like a dying cat. haha jk i love you jay. but its screechy!

5.失戀的青蛙 Lovelorn Frog (Shi Lian De Qing Wa) 03:47
starts off with talking/joking around- pretty funny, the song is circus toned-themed, extremely happy & upbeat. if i was depressed and i heard this song.. i would probably want to break something in the house... but yeah. very happy. chorus is kinda cute.  (warning: if you have a phobia of clowns, dont listen to this song, its all youre going to think of - despite whatever the lyrics mean)
--this song deserves a full listen through though. very creative

6.失落非主流 Lost Mainstream (Shi Luo Fei Zhu Liu) 04:16
extremely slow jay song, -sad.  but picks itself up (making you want to cry harder)...jay manages it well. although still typical to his style

7.從新愛 New Love (Cong Xin Ai) 04:14
starts off with chinese traditional instruments (beautiful, yet still very typical of jay). he sings with oldschool folk style, and during the middle he breaks into his falsetto voice (also typical). but eh. its cool

8.大灌藍 Big Dunk (Da Guan Lan) 02:49
has the tone of western-country, and he whines his voice to match it. instrumentals include the harmonica and electrical guitar
he sings a bit of taiwanese into it also
for the title of his song, it does not match the way the song sounds ...

9.達芬奇的畫布 Leonardo Da Vinci's Canvas (Da Fen Qi De Hua Bu) 05:11
jay sounds too happy for it to be natural,
once again, its a mellow song with happy chorus that makes you want to dance in a flower patched meadow - that, or pull out all your hair for its ridiculous giddy feel

10.小丑 Clown/Joker (Xiao Chou) 04:16
eerie. very eerie. his light-pouncing singing style makes the song have a perverted tone.. his falsetto sounds scarier than usual and the random high pitched maniacal laughing is very frightening

11.稻香 Fragrant Rice (Dao Xiang) 03:43
his hit song, typical jay - mellow&upbeat, instrumentals (flute and some string instrument) with cricket noises, he does his fast singing and it matches well with the music...
towards the middle, i wouldn't say hes rapping, but where he fast.sings-strong, is a nice addition to the song and keeps it catchy
